Bruce Lungren

I got my start in music when I was in Jr high school taking Guitar lessons which started off as playing the six string, then switching to Bass and found that the guitar just wasn’t my bag. I got involved with singing in the choir and discovered that singing was my strength.

In high school I joined a band as lead singer and again later with the same guitar player in the early 80’s with a band called “Steel Axxe”. 

The music scene was not fulfilling my needs so I laid low for awhile. I re-emerged in 2004 when I discovered what God was doing with music in the Christian world. I found my fulfillment singing praise and worshiping God in a strange new environment called Church. 

I don’t have the same background as the other members of PiF, but I found a whole new purpose to my life. God only knows what would have happened if I had found this sooner in my life. I thank God every chance I get for the wonderful and challenging life I’ve lived thus far, and I ask Him often to allow me the opportunity to continue glorifying His name through music.
