By day, Family Christian Store manager, by night and on weekends, Praise Rocker! Yeaaah!

I have played in many bands and on many worship teams in lots of different styles--Gospel, R&B, Rock, Blues and Alternative--but no matter what, I’ve always tried to glorify the Lord.

In high school, I sang and played drums for the touring band. I would watch the guitar player just show up and plug in while it took me an hour to set up my drums. So, I did what every man would do--I taught myself how to play guitar! (Self taught, thank you very much!) From there I led worship for youth and college groups, then I joined the Sky Light Band.  We won the KFIA talent show, and our songs got airtime on the radio. We opened for various Christian artists and performed throughout Northern California.  Later, I enjoyed playing guitar in worship leader William Mininfield’s band at Soaring Oaks church. I also had the pleasure of playing for Kelly Kynaston and her band, Unified.  I’ve led worship for Bradshaw Christian Church and filled in as worship leader at Soaring Oaks and Sun Grove churches. I am currently in the band Lighthouse (playing guitar and sharing original songs about my spiritual journey) as well as performing with Paid in Full.  I thank God that I have the opportunity to play with such talented and godly musicians who work

 hard to bring the blessing of worship music to people every Sunday.

God has been so good to me, guiding me through many storms. My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5:  “Trust In the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.“  I try to teach and live the truth of that scripture every day. I thank God for my amazing wife, Michelle--who puts up with all the practice nights--and my two wonderful, “roadie” daughters, Cheylene and Brianna.
